I graduated from Herron School of Art and Design in 2011 with a Bachelors in Fine Art with an emphasis in Drawing, a Bachelors in Art Education, and a minor in Art History. I have experience working in a variety of media ranging from oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, encaustic, printmaking, woodcut, collage, darkroom photography, digital photography and digital alteration and creation with programs like Photoshop. I teach art by day at Greenfield-Central High School and paint by night. My work mostly consists of acrylic paintings on canvas based on layered digital collages. Layering of imagery and the transformative process that a work of art goes through are very fascinating to me. The art that I create will layer imagery until it is almost unrecognizable. The formation of the work is always documented as well so a viewer can see the art come to life. I am really interested in historical artwork, spirals, architecture, and feminism so they tend to end up in my work.
